Rosanna Buchauer, Tim Tollefson and Ida Nilsson are elected as new PTRA Board members

Ida Nilsson (Sweden), Rosanna Buchauer (Austria) and Tim Tollefson (USA) have been elected as new PTRA Board Members after the 2025 General Assembly held online on Monday 14th April. They’ll be leading certain working groups like Antidoping, Women Equality or Competition on top on taking major decisions along with the other board members. Their energy, vision and new ideas will be a great aid to bring the PTRA to a new level and to keep working for the future of trail running.

These three new additions will replace Corrine Malcolm, Kayltyn Gerbin, Adam Merry and Nancy Jiang, whose resignation became official in the same General Assembly. Corrine and Kaytlyn were members of the first PTRA Board, created in 2023, and after two years of mandate have decided to move on due to laboral/personal changes. They will continue advising the Association in areas like Antidoping or Equality, on top of being acitve members of the PTRA.

Nancy and Adam joined the PTRA Board one year ago and also have decided to step down. We want to thank all of them for the invaluable and voluntary work that have done in these early stage of the PTRA. We also wish them the best in their personal life and their professional career!

Francesco Puppi, Fred Tranchand, Eszter Csillag and Pascal Egli were also re-elected after their first two years mandate, while Lucas Nanchen and Joaquín López continue after their first years.

Other major decisions taken in the General Assembly were to re-elect Albert Jorquera as the General Secretary for two more years and to set a membership fee of 50 euros/dollars for 2025. More info has been sent to the PTRA Members internally.
